The market sentiment is not only a nice introduction to the day, but it can also support you in your market assessment. If you’ve never participated in an enmacc market sentiment before, then it’s time. On average, enmacc provides 200 tips on electricity and gas price trends from customers daily. In return, all participants receive the aggregated market sentiment of all participating enmacc users every day at 9:30 am. For the first correct tip of the settlement price, a surprise package comes from Munich.

Not only that but at the end of the month, you will receive a detailed evaluation of how your tips were placed in relation to the actual development. You’ll also see the spread of all the tips from the previous month.

In retrospect, you will, therefore, get insights into the phases in which you have a good feeling for the market. Over time, you will learn to assess yourself better and can take these insights into account when making future decisions. The more often you participate, the more valuable the evaluation becomes.

From now on, you can also create tender requests for Scandinavia and Great Britain in the respective local currency. This will enable you to take your first steps towards international trading on enmacc.

The process is very simple. If you select a market area or a balancing zone from Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Great Britain, you can also select the local currency in the same process step. 

The request for quote will then be displayed in this currency and your trading partners will see that you expect quotations in the corresponding currency. So you simply trade in the local currency and in the usual steps.

A bearish August lies behind us. The front year in power has lost a good 4 Euro. This was already expected by many traders in July, now the market has actually turned.

Many of the participants in enmacc’s market sentiment followed this trend and correctly placed their forecasts. For some participants, the market should have fallen even more strongly, which is reflected in 32 % of bearish tips. Only a few expected a sustainable bull market.
